A 22-year-old's story of making $1 million by selling NFT selfies

A 22-year-old Indonesian college student became a millionaire by selling his selfies as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the OpenSea NFT marketplace.

For the uninitiated, NFTs are digital collectibles such as art, music, gif, etc, which work on Blockchain technology that cannot be duplicated.

The 22-year-old took selfies either sitting or standing in front of his computer, which he later transformed into NFTs and uploaded to the OpenSea marketplace.

The 22-year old-student set the price for each NFT selfie at $3 in the beginning. However, Some of the selfie NFTs were sold for ETH 0.9, amounting to around $3,000.
